The Northern BMD Club held their Championship show last weekend, the first of this year's
breed club Championship shows.
Held at Thirsk Farmers Market, it was a chilly day weather-wise and a few exhibitors have
reported that the venue was especially well ventilated (!) but as Marian Scott wrote in an email to
me afterwards " the dogs were all comfortable and there was no panting or overheated dogs.                           The service was superb and the ring was a good size."

Breed specialist Tom Kelly (Belhof) had travelled down from Scotland and counting the entry from
the results Marian emailed to me (Thanks Marian) there were 99 entries with 17 absentees plus
1 exhibit withdrawn across 20 classes.

Winning her first CC plus Best in Show was June Miles' Save Dallas Kiss For Jaybiem.  Just  2
years old, she is a daughter of June's Ch Jaybiem Innu Endo JW ShCM x Lujento Black Betty and
was bred by Caroline Rush; June's own Ch Jaybiem Utwo JW ShCM was also awarded Best

awards.  The Dog CC, his 18th went to Bernice Mair, Carole Hartley-Mair and Gary Dybdall's Ch
