"There was a special award for the oldest Bernese attending on the day, presented by Jean Lawless to Hilary Killowry O'Keeffe and the star of the day, 11 Year old Mossie aka "Carraigbern Polar Star".

"The event was well attended by a number of bernese enthusiasts some with their dogs. It was lovely to see all the dogs ( and owners!!) milling together, chatting and enjoying some of the lovely home baking and food that was on sale.

"This is definitely an event the Club will be including in its annual calendar going forward.

"Huge thanks must go to Mr Paul Lawless for organising the event and ensuring it ran flawlessly. The Club would also like to thank all the qualifiers who supported the event."
