Marian Scott emailed to tell me that schedules for the Northern BMD Club Open Show are
now available to download from Cavalier Impressions.

The show will take place on  Sunday 18th October at Thorpe Willoughby Village Hall,  Leeds
Road, Thorpe Willoughby, Selby, N Yorks Y08 9PY. The  judge will be breed specialist Karen
Bird (Cullumbern)

Entries close on Saturday 19th September 2015 (postmark) and enquiries should be directed

The Bernese entry for City of Birmingham Championship Show 2015 has been announced
as 93 exhibits giving 95 entries for breed specialist Trish Barr.

For comparison the entry at the 2014 show was 80 entries with 20 absentees for all-rounder 
judge Jack Bispham

At the Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show last weekend all-rounder judge Willie Dobbin
(Ireland) had drawn 63 entries with 16 absentees across 16 classes.  

Winning his first CC and Best of Breed was Penny Gopal's 2 1/2 year old Collansues Secret
Bridges. Bred by Sue Flanagan he is a son of Ch Collansues Buildin' Bridges At Bramikdel
x Collansues Snowonder.  

Best Puppy and the Reserve CC was awarded to Bernice Mair & Carole Hartley-Mair's
homebred 7 month old Meadowpark High Class.  A son of Ch Meadowpark Vertigo JW, he is 
out of Meadowpark Northern Blend and he then went on to take Puppy Group 2 under
judge Mark Cocozza.   

Bernice and Carole also bred the Bitch CC winner, Julie Baldwin's 10 month old Meadowpark
Living My Dream At Fortonpark.   Winning her 1st CC, she is sired by Julie's recently crowned
Tjofselinas Z Diamuz At Fortonpark JW x Ch Meadowpark Living The Dream.

Jackie Weston's 16 month old homebred Bernfawr In Vogue won the Reserve CC. She is
sired by Ch Lujento Heyhobart  With Welshbern x Bernfawr Finesse

Best Veteran went to Alan & Julie Fairclough's Ch Monalou What's It All About ShCM who is 
a 7 1/2 year old bred by Michele Gurney and sired by Monalou It's Fletcher x Monalou Dutch 
Baroness.  Congratulations.

few items of relevance to Bernese.

PERMISSION TO SHOW

Having been investigated by Mrs G Simpson MRCVS, the following application is 
recommended as not satisfying the Committee under Regulation F(B)3.a., with further
provisos that under the provision of Regulation B.12.b.(5) the Committee imposes an 
endorsement on the dogs records that they not be eligible for entry at Kennel Club
licensed Breed Shows or unlicensed Breed events recognised by the Kennel Club..
