Bobbie ~ Ch Shirdees Bobbie Dazzler
26th July 2006 ~ 8th August 2016

Julie Bramble emailed;

"With a very heavy heart we had to say goodbye to our very special girl Bobbie. Over the last few
months her legs had been failing her and she just couldn't cope any more so we had to make the
heartbreaking decision to let her go. She was such a lovely natured girl who loved everyone. She
will be sadly missed but we feel lucky to have had ten wonderful years with her.
Run free lovely girl till we meet again. xx"

A bright, sunny day dawned for the BMD Club of Scotland Championship Show held last
Saturday at the usual venue, Springwood Park, Kelso.

Massed carts paraded behind the piper to open the show and as one attendee told me, "it brought
tears and emotion" to many who were at the ringside to witness this very special spectacle which
is an integral part of this popular annual show.

The judges were June Miles (Jaybiem) who drew 58 entries for the Dog classes, and Sue Flanagan
(Collansues) who had 74 entries in the Bitch classes. Thank you to Club secretary Anges Wilson
for sending me a marked catalogue - it's very much appreciated.

Julie Baldwin's Czech import Guiness Record from Christofland To Fortonpark won his second CC
and went on to be declared Best in Show.  He is rising 3 years old, bred by Hana Chovancova and
is a son of Ch Sennenhund Rossi Senator x Desert Rose From Christofland.  Julie had more to
celebrate winning Best Puppy in Show with her 11 month old dog Meadowpark First Class For
Fortonpark (Ch Meadowpark Vertigo JW x M One Lover) and also won Best Bitch Puppy with her
homebred Fortonpark Lilly's Delight, another 11 month old who is sired by the Best in Show winner
x Ch Fortonpark Dutch Delight. Julie's recently crowned Ch Meadowpark Living My Dream At
Fortonpark won the Reserve Bitch CC who was sired by Julie's own Ch Tjofselinas Z Diamuz At
At Fortonpark JW, a Swedish import x Ch Meadowpark Living The Dream JW.  Julie also bred
the Best Veteran, Sarah Rossall's Fortonpark Molly Malone who is a 7 year old sired by Ch

The Reserve Dog CC and Reserve Best in Show went to Bernice Mair, Carole Hartley-Mair &
Gary Dybdall's 19 month old, homebred Ch Meadowpark High Class who is a son of Ch

what a successful collaboration there is between these two top-winning kennels.

The Bitch CC, her 10th plus Best Opposite Sex went to Leena Pawlyszyn's Ch Matera Disco Diva,
a 6 1/2 year old bred by Leena's mum Kathy and sired by Ch Chyburne Classy Luka x Materabern

BLACKPOOL CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 26th June 2016

MInor Puppy Dog  (1 entry)
1st Wright & Kirk's Arvella Mark Of Respect For Roesilbern.
Such a happy fellow of 7 months
old.  Beautiful head and eye. Well grown with excellent body, bone and long tail.  He moved very
well for his age with good reach in profile, can still firm a touch behind.

Puppy Dog  (2)
1st Baldwin's Meadowpark First Class For Fortonpark.
Aptly named handsome chap with
masculine head, well made all through with excellent bone, body, topline and feet, scoring here
on balance.  Very free mover, covering ground in side gait. A little over-enthusiastic with his, albeit,
long tail  at times.
2nd Gallagher's Blumental Maksimillian. Just 7 months and eyes can still tighten. Very masculine
and obviously a determined character who moved well for his age once he decided to stop bouncing.
for his age once he decided to stop bouncing. Well set and carried tail.

Junior Dog  (4 entries, 1 absentee)
1st Mair, Hartley-Mair & Dyball's Ch Meadowpark High Class.
Again so well named, lovely for
size, type, make, shape and balance with well set and carried tail. Good lay-back of shoulder and
bend of stifle with firmly muscled quarters, sturdily built and well off for bone and broad chest.
Well shaped head and dark expressive eye.  An enthusiastic willing showman, in splendid coat
and condition, who moved beautifully. CC and Best of Breed, Best Junior and later delighted to
see him shortlisted in the Group and Junior Group 2.
2nd Fairclough's Monalou Spirit Of Discovery.  A good steady mover, well balanced with level
topline.  Just a little rounder in eye than the winner.
3rd Phillips' Monalou Norwegian Star.

Post Graduate Dog  (7, 2)
1st Bridges' Kernow Something.
A handsome fellow. Very energetic, strongly built and well
balanced.  So beautifully conformed all through with well angulated shoulders and quarters, long
well set and carried tail, good topline, bone and feet.  Very good mover, reaching out and covering
ground.  Reserve CC.
2nd Miles' Orlando Bloom At Jaybiem.
Gorgeous in so many ways with the most beautiful head,
eye and expression. Well balanced with the best of conformation and long, well set and carried tail.
Frustratingly, for reasons of his own, he lacked concentration on the move doing all that was asked
of him and nothing more, looking thoroughly bored.  However, from the few steps he took when
showing any kind of animation, proved he can move beautifully when he tries. His turn will surely
come.
3rd Brennand's Malindi Beach Of Bonningate.

Limit Dog  (8)
1st Baldwin's Guiness Record From Christofland to Fortonpark (Imp Cze).
 Very happy
with tail constantly awag. Well shaped masculine head, good lay back of shoulder, well balanced.
He moved extremely well.
2nd Scott's Welshbern One Vision At Scobern ShCM. Well balanced with excellent bone and
body, well made, preferred this one's firmer topline.  Difficult to keep his concentration on the job
in hand when his mind was all too obviously on the girls but proved to be a very good mover.
3rd Carty's Floskirk Berneray.

Open Dog  (5, 1)
1st Mair, Hartley-Mair & Dyball's Ch Meadowpark Vertigo JW.
Very smart, in splendid coat
and hard muscular condition.  Strongly built and well made all through with masculine head, good
body, lay back of shoulder and bend of stifle,. A great showman of high quality who moved even
better reaching out and covering ground when his handler went at a slightly slower pace.
2nd Jefferson's Meadowpark Boysown.  Another most impressive dog,  so well conformed
with good shoulder angulation, bone and substance with excellent topline, tail set and carriage.
An enthusiastic willing showman who moved very well.
3rd Carty's Floskirk Berneray.

Minor Puppy Bitch  (4, 1)
1st Baldwin's Fortonpark Chasing Dreams.
Just 6 months old at her first show but already so
very mature in coat, body and attitude.  She looked as if she knew what should be done and just
how to do it! A faultless showgirl whose excellence of movement for her age merely proved how
very well made she is all through. Well balanced with firm level topline and long, well set and
carried tail. Most exciting.
2nd Richards' Harvestbank Gypsy. Another delightful 6 monther at her first show. In good coat
and condition if not as mature as the winner as yet. Good topline and lay back of shoulder, just
needs time to develop in head. Moved very steadily for her age.  The promise is all there.
3rd Wilson's Blumental Verusha.

Puppy Bitch  (1)
1st Baldwin's  Fortonpark Lilly's Delight,
and she was, indeed, my delight! Having waxed
lyrical over the same owner's beautiful youngster in the last class, this one, die to added maturity,
was even better.  Sturdily built and beautifully balanced, chock full of quality and type. Already in
superb coat with bright tan and in hard muscular condition she would seem to have it all at just 9
months. Lovely head with a charming friendly expression in her dark eyes.  Well off for bone with
good feet. A great showgirl, holding herself so proudly, she moved to match the excellence of her
conformation.  She is something very special.   Best Puppy, Best Junior and  Reserve CC.

Junior Bitch  (2, 1)
1st Watson's Staubach Quiana At Stepdashar.
Currently just at the betwixtt and between stage
in coat but what she had was gleaming with good bright tan. Such a friendly personality with non-
stop wagging tail. Happy and willing, she moved very accurately.

Post Graduate Bitch  (7, 2)
1st Jeffries' Esslinbern Binda Hip Hop.
Lovely feminine head, in excellent coat. Good lay back
of shoulders, excellent topline, tailset and carriage.  She moved very well.
2nd Tomkins' Meadowpark Hopes And Dreams.   Sturdily built and well off for bone with a good
topline and long tail of which she was a little over proud at times. An energetic showgirl and such a
good mover.
3rd Johnson's Monalou Bay Breeze.

Limit Bitch  (8, 1)
1st Baldwin's Meadowpark Living My Dream At Fortonpark.
 Lovely head and expression.
Excellent body and bone, good lay back of shoulder and turn of stifle.  A happy, willing showgirl
who went beautifully.
2nd Griffiths, Slade & Orme's Jaybiem Vou Doo at Potterspride JW. Happy personality with tail
constantly awag. Strongly built and well made all through with bright tan, excellent bone and feet.
Very good mover, keeping her topline.
3rd Edge's Monalou Iced Queen.

Open Bitch  (6, 2)
1st Gurney's Ch Monalou Fanny Craddock JW.
So very typey and well balanced, sturdily built,
in full mature coat and the hardest of muscular condition. Lovely head, eye and expression.
Excellent size, make and shape with well angulated shoulders and strong quarters. The
excellence of her movement merely going to prove how very well she is made, looking as if she
could go all day with no trouble at all. Gorgeous!  CC, which I am led to believe is her 5th.
2nd Goodyear's Harvestbank Fields Of Gold JW ShCM.  Also very lovely with well shaped,
feminine head, so good for type, excellent shoulders and strong topline with well set and carried
tail.  Balanced and seemingly effortless on the move.
3rd Mair Hartley-Mair & Dyball's Ch Meadowpark Breezing On.
Judge - Jane Lilley
