"After reading the critiques on the Southern BMD Club Open show I have found the
comments on my dog to be disgustingly rude, and why the judge thinks he has the
right to say if he was his dog he would not show him I do not know.  In many years of
going to dog shows we have never encountered  such rudeness from a judge; yes,
we may not like what that judge thinks of our dog but we have always accepted what
they think. We go to the dog shows for a social aspect, meeting up with old friends
and socialising our dog and have always enjoyed this but now he has made it very
difficult and upsetting to enjoy the shows which we have done for many years.

"Yes, this is just his comments but I hope he thinks about what he says next time and
does not cause upset to anyone else. At the end of the day we have the most beautiful
dog and we love him to bits."

[Update 4.35pm 17th February, the critique referred to has been removed upon my receiving
instruction from the judge
.]

NATIONAL WORKING & PASTORAL BREEDS OPEN SHOW 14th February 2015

Puppy   (5 entries, 1 absentee)
1st Miles’ Save Dallas Kiss For Jaybiem.
10 month old bitch of great potential.
A pretty feminine head with a slight furrow and adequate stop. Almond shaped
dark brown eyes with well set ears. Nice neck. Good angle formed between
shoulder and upper arm. Straight forelegs with slightly flexing pasterns. Good
bend of stifle. In the stand provided a good overall shape with a nice rounded
rump and well set tail. Nice markings completed the overall picture. Moved
soundly and steadily maintaining her  balance in all gaits. Reserve Best of
Breed and Best Puppy.
2nd Miles’ Orlando Bloom At Jaybiem.
3rd Hundley’s Bernfawr Imagination At Calizley

Junior  (2)
1st Miles’ Save Dallas Kiss For Jaybiem.
2nd Miles’ Orlando Bloom At Jaybiem.

Post Graduate  (3, 1)
1st Blenkinsopp’s Mountain Crystal Don’t Forget Me At Thiesbern.
19 month
old male. Strong head with a slight furrow and adequate stop with a nice white
blaze. Dark brown almond shaped eyes. Good bone throughout. Very straight
front. Currently at a leggy stage and needs to fill out his body as he matures.
Would benefit with more bend of stifle. In good coat and well presented. Came
into his own on the move and won the class with his good movement, reaching out
well in front and following through with power from behind. He excels in profile
but can just turn in a little on the front when coming towards.
2nd Cowell’s Tickbern Rumour Has It.

Open  (4, 2)
1st King & Brambles’ Shirdees Continental JW
. 2 ½ year old male. Strong
male head with a good stop and narrow white blaze. Nice dark brown almond shape
eyes. Ears well set. Good reach of neck, correct angulation front and rear with
well bent stifles. Smoothly rounded rump.  A little weak on his pasterns in the
stand but overall provided a nice balanced picture in profile. In good coat and well
presented. Moved very well reaching out well in front and with good power. Keeps
a good level top line on the move giving a pleasing view when seen in profile. In the
challenge his maturity just gave him the edge over the very impressive puppy.
Best of Breed
2nd Blenkinsopp’s Northmeadow Porsche At Thiesbern.
