The breed Club for one of the "cousins" of Bernese - the Entlebucher Mountain Dog Club of Great
Britain are holding a breed specific judge training seminar on 18th April 2015 at Cogenhoe and
Whiston Village Hall, York Road, Northamptonshire, NN7 1NB, beginning at 10am and finishing
During the morning session training will be given on the conformation of the Entlebucher and all
aspects of the breed standard so that you will be able to assess dogs in the show ring. It will cover
the unique features of the breed, for example the Entlebucher differs from most breeds having a
body ratio of 8:10 height-length which makes the dog appear too long in the body to those unfamiliar.
This difference and others will be covered in more detail during the session.
An assessment, which will qualify you to join the Club's judging list will be carried out in the afternoon.
There are only 10 places available for the afternoon assessment. However, there are more spaces
available for the morning seminar if you just wish to attend that session.
The fees for the seminar are;
Morning session only, including lunch - £15 per person or
Full day, including lunch and assessment - £25 per person.
Anyone wishing to attend should book before 10th April 2015 and enquiries should be directed
to Lynn Gibbins on 01347 838747 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
