Trish Goodyear emailed an update
regarding the Southern Club's forthcoming Working and
Fun weekend which takes place on 18th & 19th July.  

Trish wrote; 

"Unfortunately, the clubhouse at Henfold Lakes has been destroyed by fire but this will not affect
our going ahead with the weekend as there will be  mobile catering facilities and toilets on site.  

"There are many local pubs around for people to have dinner etc., if they do not wish to cook
every night! Apologies to all our campers."

Trish Goodyear (Harvestbank) travelled north on Sunday to the new venue near Preston for
Blackpool Championship Show where she had drawn an entry of 73 with 18 absentees across
12 classes.  

Winning his first CC plus Best of Breed was local owner Julie Baldwin's Czech import Guiness
Record From Christofland To Fortonpark who is 20 months old and bred by Hana Chovancova
Sired by Ch Sennenhund Rossii Senator, he is out of Desert Rose From Christofland.  

Shandy Bridges' long trek from Cornwall was rewarded by taking the Reserve CC with her
homebred Ch Kernow Rock Star.  2 years old he is by Ch Kernow Ohso Special x Kernow Uptou.

In Bitches Bernice Mair, Carole Hartley-Mair and Gary Dybdall's homebred Meadowpark Breezing
On was awarded her 2nd CC.  A couple of days short of 18 months old she is sired by
Tjofselinas Z Diamuz At Fortonpark x Ch Meadowpark Whispers Breeze.  

Leena Pawlyszyn's Ch Materabern Disco Diva won the Reserve CC.  Bred by Kathy Pawlyszyn,
she is 5 years old and sired by  Ch Chyburne Classy Luka x Materabern Ch Ch Cha.  

Best Puppy went to Ruth Dickson's Monalou Vino Verde At Geruth who was bred by Michele Gurney 
and sired by Ned Ch Yoyo Van't Rijkenspark x Monalou It's Marlene.  Congratulations.
