Special Award Champion Class (5 entries 1 absentee)

What a delight to judge a class of champions all of whom deserved first place. I judged this class at lunchtime on a very hot day and decided to move them a minimal distance due to the heat of the day.

1st Griffiths, Orme & Slade's Ch Jaybiem Vou Doo At Potterspride JW. I was surprised to hear the age of this champion veteran bitch. She looked as fresh as daisy and at seven and a half years of age she moved with drive. She has a lovely feminine head with good eye shape, level topline and was presented in excellent condition. I could we imagine her being able to carry out a day's work on the farm. I wish her many more years in Champion and Veteran classes.
2nd Bird & Bridges' Ch Kernow Something ShCM. Average size dog with good bone and neat feet. Correct shaped dark eyes in lovely head. Moved well with level topline and correct tail carriage. A worthy champion.
