Bernese News 30th March 2017

The Northern BMD Club Championship Show was held on Sunday at Thirsk Farmers Market
and the weather was bright, warm and sunny allowing the judging to take place outside on the
hard standing.  Thank you to Marian Scott for emailing scans of the marked catalogue to me -
much appreciated Marian.

Breed specialist judge Trish Barr made the journey north for 118 exhibits giving 126 entries
with 27 absentees plus 14 entered Not For Competition.  Before the judging commenced there

that as yet are not included on the Import Register.

"There is this year separate Judges for Best Rare Breed and Imports in Show, and Best in Show.
Classes have been increased to 322. This is Not just a show for all of us, but an event for
everyone. I want exhibiters to have a fun and friendly day out making the show a great occasion
for everyone.

"We desperately need new people to help with this show.
