Belgian import Lotti Van't Pachthof. Elsewhere at the show Lisa's 9 year old daughter Lauren

Always a lovely breed to judge. Perhaps not the numbers of as much depth of quality as in
the past, but still very many good dogs. We were a little late starting, luckily the show
management saw that our allotted ring was running very behind time and we were able to
move rings. Glad to see so many with the correct spring of rib, although that often went with
a slightly forward and wide set shoulder (I guess nature taking over) and not as many too
long or short on the leg as had been the case.

Minor Puppy Dog  (1 entry)
1st Baldwin's Meadowpark First Class For Fortonpark.
Quite mature looking sound dog.
Pleasing head, correct stop, dark eyes. Could have more neck and better laid shoulders.
Well sprung ribs. Broad chest, firm topline. Very well made rear. Super conditioning and

Junior Dog  (5)
1st Mair, Hartley-Mair & Dybdall's Meadowpark High Class. Really super young dog,
excellent temperament. Pleasing outline, if just a fraction long. Masculine head, super eye
and expression. Enough neck. Shoulders slightly wide set. Broad chest. Well ribbed, firm in
topline. Excellent rear. Very easy and accurate on the move. Top quality dog. CC and Best
of Breed.  I'm told making him up on the day, and then shortlisted in an excellent Group -
well done.
2nd Wakeland's Shirdees Joe Dimaggio At Bramikdel. Very good for type. Has a masculine
head, perhaps slightly deep in stop. Enough neck. Slightly forward in shoulder. Good width of
chest. Well sprung ribs. Topline ok. Well made rear. Slightly proud of his tail. Good mover.
3rd Phillips' Monalou Norwegian Star.

Graduate Dog  (3 entries, 1 absentee)

1st Wakeland's Shirdees Joe Dimaggio At Bramikdel.
2nd Wood's Cegshe Fagan.
Being rather a handful on the move for his handler. Typical in
outline. Would like a better eye and expression, he has enough width of skull. Fair neck.
Shoulders slightly forward. Good depth of chest well ribbed back. Can firm in topline. Fair
rear. Short and curly tail. Moves quite well.

Post Graduate Dog  (2, 1)
1st Green's Bernsego Jack Vorobey At Pasturegreen (Imp).
Correct proportions. Has a
very good head with flat skull. Lovely eye and expression. Could have more neck. Fair
shoulders. Need to be deeper in chest. Well sprung ribs. Enough hind angulation. Just a
little close going away. Holds a level topline.

Limit Dog  (6, 1)
1st Baldwin's Guiness Record From Christofland To Fortonpark.
Won this class with a
bit to spare. Liked his outline, markings acceptable. Lovely head, flat skull, correct stop. Fair
neck. Shoulders could be better laid. Broad chest which reaches elbow. Well sprung ribs.
Topline could be slightly better. Well bent stifle with low hocks. Moved well. Reserve CC.
2nd Gopal's Collansues Secret Bridges. He has a lovely head. Masculine, correct width
dark eyes. Lengthy neck. Fair front. Enough width of chest. Well sprung ribs. Topline could
be better. Moderate hind angulation. Well carried tail.
3rd Green's Millenium Star Email Of Happiness At Pasturegreen.

Open Dog  (2, 1)
1st Mair, Hartley-Mair & Dybdall's Ch Meadowpark Vertigo JW.
Beautifully presented dog.
He has a lovely head, correct eye and expression. Lengthy neck. Quite good shoulders. Good
width of chest. Liked his spring off ribs. Super rear. Very easy mover. He is just a little long.
Something upset him slightly and not on his best form today.

Minor Puppy Bitch  (3)
1st Baldwin's Fortonpark Lilly's Delight.
At rather an age advantage here, but she is a very
promising pup. Liked her proportions. Fem head of correct width for age. Enough neck. Could
have slightly better laid shoulders. Broad chest. Well sprung ribs. Topline can firm. Enough hind
angulation. Moved well, with a long and easy stride, which topped her into Best Puppy over her
kennel mate.
2nd Green's Lollypop De Neboa De Meigas At Pasturegreen. Very much a baby with a
delightful temperament. Head shows a lot of promise. Good eye and expression. Enough neck.
Fair front. Level in topline. At moment needs to grow into her rear angulation. Liked her very
3rd Wilson's Blumental Verusha.

Puppy Bitch  (2, 1)
1st Watson's Staubach Quiana At Stepdashar.
Liked  her  proportions. Slightly rangy at this
age, she stands a little high at the rear, but levels off moving. Good neck and shoulders. Ribs go
well back. Nice feet. Just needs a little more width all through.

Junior Bitch  (4, 1)
1st Granger's Shirdees Harlow Jean Of Shadybower.
Well grown b. Very good outline and
proportions. Could get a little more width to her skull as she matures. Fair neck. Better shoulders
than 2nd. Well ribbed back. Could be more accurate out and back.
2nd Jones' Lujento Gloria Swan Song. Very good head. Needs more neck and a better lay
of shoulder. Deep and broad chest. OK rear. Liked her profile action but could be tidier out and
3rd Small's Malindibeach Faberge Fancy.

Graduate Bitch  (5, 1)
1st Bird's Kernow Let It Be At Cullumbern JW.
Very easy moving bitch. Would like a slightly
broader skull. Good eyes. Fair length neck and shoulders OK. Well sprung ribs. Topline is level.
Well bent stifle with low hocks. Nice feet. Can firm in out and back movement.
2nd Tomkins' Meadowpark Hopes And Dreams. Liked her type. Lovely outline, spoilt on the
move by her tail. Very good head. Broad, flat skull, correct neck. Moderate neck. Well sprung
ribs. Topline level. Needs a little more hind angulation. Moved fairly well.
3rd Perks' Bernfawr Hot Spice.

Post Graduate Bitch  (7, 3)
1st Green's Kibou De Neboa De Meigas At Pasturegreen.
Very Nice type of Bernese who
excels in profile action. Liked her head, well balanced with a flat skull.  OK for neck. Quite a
good front but toes in slightly. Well sprung ribs. Topline OK. Fair rear.
2nd Jones & Grayling's Lujento L'wren Bacall With Welshbern. Liked her width of chest
and spring or rib. Pleasing, feminine head. Dark eyes with a good expression. OK neck. Fair
front. Runs up slightly in topline. OK rear. Could just use her rear a bit more.
3rd Hundley's Bernfawr Imagination At Calizley.

Limit Bitch  (6, 1)
1st Baldwin's Meadowpark Living My Dream At Fortonpark.
Lovely for type. She has a
super head and excels in profile action. Fair neck. Quite well laid shoulders. Deep and broad
chest. Slightly upright in pastern. Well sprung ribs. Level topline. Well bent stifle. Low hocks.
Rather too wide coming towards. Super temperament. Reserve CC behind what turned out
to be her sister.
2nd Flanagan's Collansues Heart Of Gold. Very good honest sort of a b. Has a good head,
you just need to look into it because of her very narrow blaze. Lengthy neck. Fair front. Well
sprung ribs. Topline could be firmer. Uses rear well, could be better in front.
3rd Weston's Bernfawr In Vogue JW.

Open Bitch  (6, 2)
1st Mair, Hartley-Mair & Dybdall's Ch Meadowpark Just A Dream.
She is a lovely shape
and moves so well in profile. Prefer her head to second, she has slightly more width of skull.
Lengthy neck. Well laid shoulder. Deep chest. Could have just a little more fill. Super topline.
Strong loin. Well made rear, good turn of stifle and low hocks. OK out and back. CC.
2nd Mair & Hartley-Mair's  Meadowpark One Lover. Very typy, feminine bitch. Good neck
and quite a good shoulder. Deep chest. Could be firmer in pasterns. Well sprung rib. Can
sometimes be a little lazy in topline. Very good rear. Moves quite well.
3rd Goodyear's Harvestbank Fields Of Gold JW.

Veteran Bitch  (2, 1)
1st Goodyear's Harvestbank Born To Boogie.
Looks like she would have been a strong
bitch in her day. Feminine head. OK back. Broad chest. Well sprung ribs. Stands and moves
with hocks running in now. Best Veteran.
