WORKING & PASTORAL BREEDS OF WALES CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 20th April 2019

Puppy Dog  (5 entries)
1st Larkin & Hobson's Rodiveco Sagacity.
6 months old, I assume this is his first show, lovely shape and in a good stage of development. Balanced developing head, dark almond shaped eye and scissor bite. Front legs viewed straight with ample bone and compact feet. Silky coat with nice sheen, moved steady and well presented. Best Dog Puppy and Best Puppy.
2nd Bridges' Kernow Easy Rider. 6 months old, another that must be at his first show, stood well for examination. Masculine head developing nicely, dark eye and scissor bite. Neck of medium length into compact body and front legs viewed straight, well bent stifle but I prefer better hocks on the move which cost him today.
3rd Cotton's Kernow Billy No Mates At Jukesbern.

Junior Dog  (3 entries, 1 absentee)
1st Miles' Jaybiem Modus Operandi.
12 months old, liked this dog for overall type. Good masculine head with dark eyes and scissor bite. Medium length neck into firm compact body, good coat with nice sheen, front legs viewed straight with ample bone and compact feet. Well bent stifle and strong hocks, brisk, even mover, well shown.
2nd Bridges' Kernow Troublue. 16 months old, bigger all through than winner and a touch long in body at this stage of development. Masculine head of medium strength with dark almond shaped eyes, scissor bite, ears of medium size. Strong neck and firm back, well angulated quarters but stands cow hocked which continued on the move.

Novice Dog  (2)
1st Galen-Bisping's Kernow Something Buzzy At Celticberns.
2 1/2 years old, masculine head of good length with defined stop, good mouth with scissor bite, almond shaped dark eyes. Strong neck into firm body, front legs viewed straight and well boned with compact feet. His front movement was positive and rear is good with power, well shown. Reserve CC.
2nd Miles' Jaybiem Modus Operandi.

Post Graduate Dog  (4)
1 Galen-Bisping's Kernow Something Buzzy At Celticberns.
2 King & Bramble's Shirdees Leathal Weapon.
2 1/2 years old, good size and substance, balanced masculine head with good stop and dark eyes, scissor bite, deep chest with front legs straight and well angled shoulders, balanced rear quarters, roots his tail and has a tendency to pace, when controlled he is nice and steady on the move.
3 Marshall's Matthew Puchate Perly Of Bernannan (Imp Pol).

Limit Dog  (4) The worst class for movement today! Sorry to say.
1st Westlake's Apriori Uill Smith For Jesterbrock (Imp Rus). 3 1/2 years old, strong and sturdy throughout with good masculine head, scissor bite. Front legs viewed straight with medium bone and compact feet. Good body shape with smoothly rounded rump and tail well carried, stifle well bent. On the move he is wide at front and pins in.
2nd Fairclough's Monalou Spirit Of Discovery ShCM. 4 years old, good masculine head, dark almond shaped eyes and scissor bite. Firm body with good coat and nice sheen. Front legs viewed straight when stood with ample bone and compact feet. On the move he was cow hocked and threw his front about, the stride should reach out well in front!
3rd Wort's Bernfawr In Demand At Glorybern.
Open Dog  (4)
1st Hughes' Waldershelf Causing Kaos ShCM.
5 years old today, handsome, masculine head with well defined stop and scissor bite, good eye shape and colour. Muscular neck into his firm straight back, ribs well sprung and deep to brisket. Front legs viewed straight, well boned and compact feet, well angulated rear quarters. Moved out brisk with energy and nice power. Dog CC.
2nd Rothery's Ch Glamrock Graffiti Artist ShCM.  4 1/2 years old, now fully mature of good size and substance. Balanced masculine head with good stop and dark eyes, scissor bite. Deep chest with front legs straight stood and well angled shoulders. Firm body and full coat, balanced rear quarters. Front movement is not his fortune coming towards me wide and throwing about. Cost him today as he was my Reserve CC winner in 2017.
3rd Baldwin's Meadowpark First Class For Fortonpark.

Puppy Bitch  (2)
1st Jones' Tremywyddfa Just In Time
. 8 months old, lovely shape and well balanced. Feminine head, scissor bite, ears well carried. Medium length neck into developing body, good coat with sheen. Front and rear quarter's both have good angulation, movement nice and steady, Best Bitch Puppy.
2nd Beet's Tamarbern Dreaming Spires Of Wilobazmajic.
10 months old, tall and slender being long in leg with medium bone. Lacks substance in body, consequently movement was stilted. Let her mature then attend some open shows which are cheaper.

Junior Bitch  (4)
1st Miles' Jaybiem Alia Iacta Est.
12 months old, I would have liked a bit more of her but she won the class with ease. Strong yet feminine head with dark brown almond shaped eyes, scissor bite. Muscular neck into firm body, ample bone and well angulated quarters. Good coat. Front moves a touch wide with good rear action, well presented.
2nd Galen-Bisping's Jaybiem Magnolia At Celticberns. 12 months old, litter sister I see, nice overall for type and of medium size, again I would prefer more of her. Finer in head than winner with well defined stop, scissor bite. Body of 9-10 ratio that makes a nice shape, soft coat with sheen, front legs straight and well boned. Ribs down to elbow, nice rear angulation providing power. Well shown.
3rd  Williams' Tinland Pink Sapphire.

Post Graduate Bitch  (2)
1st Baldwin's Fortonpark Sez I'm Classy.
19 months old, feminine head, almond shaped dark eyes and scissor bite. Muscular neck into compact body with good substance although I would prefer more of her throughout. Nice coat with crisp markings with nice sheen. Front legs viewed straight with good bone and feet, positive mover, well shown.
2nd Westlake's Jesterbrock Lovestruck. 2 years old, longer than winner yet lovely overall for type. Balanced head, scissor bite, dark brown almond shaped eyes. Front legs viewed straight with medium bone and round feet. In profile she was rump high the result being a lump, I hope it is treatable. Nicely muscled rear quarters, brisk and even mover, shows well.

Limit Bitch  (8, 3)
1st King & Bramble's Shirdees Miss Congeniality JW.
2 1/2 years old, a good size girl with substance and bone. Feminine head of good length with dark brown eyes and scissor bite. Well ribbed and strong loins, good coat with slight wave, stifle well bent. A touch wide on the move, forgave her as excels in breed type, I liked her a lot. Reserve CC.
2nd Jones' Tremywyddfa Forget Me Not. 2 years old, feminine head with almond shaped eyes that are dark brown, scissor bite. Front legs viewed straight and good feet, in profile she is nice and compact with substance. Nice coat soft and silky, well presented and shown.

Open Bitch  (2)
1st Miles' Jaybiem My My My JW.
2 1/2 year old that just stands out for quality and balance. Lovely feminine head and correct dark eyes and scissor bite. Medium length muscular neck into compact body with straight back, striking coat colour and texture.Balanced quarters front and rear, all combining to give even flowing movement. My pleasure to award her Bitch CC and Best of Breed.
2 Baldwin's Fortonpark Lilly's Delight.
3 1/2 years old, feminine head, almond shaped dark eyes. Muscular neck into compact body that is small overall, I would prefer more of her throughout. Nice coat with crisp markings and sheen. Front legs straight with good feet, on the move another that was wide front coming towards me and pinned in slightly, well presented.
