Bernese News 10th November 2015

At Working & Pastoral Breeds of Scotland Championship Show breed specialist Cathy Connelly
(Kossberne) was awarding CCs for the first time.  There were 61 entries with 12 absentees.

The Dog CC, his third plus Best of Breed went to Shirley King & Julie Bramble's homebred
Shirdees Continental JW ShCM with Bernice Mair, Carole Hartley-Mair & Gary Dybdall's Ch
Meadowpark Vertigo JW taking the Reserve CC.  Bernice and Carole also took home the Bitch CC,
her 4th, won by Ch Meadowpark Perfect Blend and their Meadowpark High Class won Best Puppy
and went on to win Working Puppy Group 2 under Tom Johnson.  The Reserve bitch ticket
went to Esther-Ann McCormick's Monalou Artic Queen. Congratulations.

After the judging Secretary of the BMD Club of Scotland Agnes Wilson and committee member
Anne Gerrard were called into the ring to receive a presentation by Di Atherton and other members
of the GB Bernese Buddies facebook group of a cheque for £750 for that Club's rescue fund. The
money had been raised by the selling of cool bags adorned with a Bernese logo.  Well done!

And so we have another new Bernese Champion, subject to Kennel Club confirmation.
