The funeral of John Harris will take place at 1.30pm on Friday 2nd December 2016 at St Albans 
Church, Broadmead Avenue, Northampton NN3 2RA and will be followed by a private cremation
which will be attended by family only.  


Friends are very welcome to attend the church service and a reception afterwards at Kingsley
Park Working Mans Club and Institute, 120 Kingsley Park Terrace, Northampton NN2 7HJ. 

Family flowers only but donations in memory of John may be made to benefit both Silverline and
Bernese Welfare UK and may be made at the church service or sent to Kevin Matthews Funeral
Service, 1 - 5 Balmoral Road, Northampton, NN2 6LA.

The Northern BMD Club Superleague was held on Saturday 19th November and organiser
Marian Scott emailed the results. 

Marion wrote;

The entry for the BMD Club of Great Britain
Open Show to be held on 3rd December 2016 is
announced as 55 exhibits giving 85 entries for breed specialist judge Julie Wakeland (Bramikdel)
plus 16 entries in the Special Members Awards classes to be judged by breed specialist Rebecca
King (Leapingwell) who replaces the judge named in the schedule.

For comparison, the entry at the 2015 show was 65 exhibits giving 75 entries with 29 absentees
and 1 withdrawn for breed specialist Ruth Summerley (Mytezika), plus 15 entries with 10 absentees
in the Special Members Awards classes judged by breed specialist Faye Stannard (Kohbern).
