Those travelling on the London Underground have been viewing posters advertising Discover Dogs which takes place at the ExCel, London on 20th & 21st October and one of the posters features a large 'smiling' headshot of a well-marked Bernese with the tag-line "Big boy looking for love".
Several Bernese folk contacted me as they had believed the poster was in fact an appeal attempting to find the dog a new home and that he needed "rescuing" but their worries were unfounded as of course that was not the case as I believe the dog is owned by Ashley Mitchell. Just another example of our eye-catching breed had been chosen to attract attention as part of an advertising campaign.
