Bernese News 16th October 2019

Bernese owner Sarah McTighe has been training hard in recent months in preparation to take part in the Autumn Wolf Run and also a half-marathon and had invited sponsorship and donations so that her physical task could help three good causes - namely Therapy Dogs Nationwide, Woodside Animal Centre and Bernese Welfare UK. All Sarah's efforts were well rewarded with a total of £1305 being raised of which £734 has been donated to Bernese Welfare UK. Massive thanks to Sarah and all her supporters for being so generous in helping needy Bernese.

At South Wales Championship Show 2019 breed specialist Amanda Hearne (Snoanda) found 49 entries with 3 absentees across the 14 classes.

For comparison the entry at South Wales 2018 show was 68 entries with 16 absentees for breed specialist Lynn Barker (Graburlynn).

Thank you to Julie Ann Wright for providing the photographs.
