Winning his 11th CC was Bernice Mair, Carole Hartley-Mair & Gary Dybdall's 19 month old

Not a large entry but thank you to all those who entered, I hope you had a good day. Sorry for
the delay at the beginning beginning but the originally designated stewards did not appear so
substitutes had to be found so big thank you to them for filling in at short notice.

Puppy Dog  (3 entries)

3 youngsters who all definitely need to improve on the move but with my winner I felt it was
mostly down to immaturity and high spirits, which we like!
1st Akehurst’s Jesterbrock Alpine Storm.  6 months old and still very immature but nothing
wrong in that. Promising in outline proportion from the side but needs to broaden throughout
as he grows. Slightly narrow but otherwise pleasing head with lovely dark eyes although they
need to tighten as his head grows. Standing straight from the front with decent shoulder
placement and correct depth of chest. Level topline and correct angulation and shape at the
rear. Unsettled at times on the move but when into his stride briefly displayed some moments of
good balanced movement which comfortably won him the class.  Happy correct temperament.
2nd Butcher’s Arvella Rebel Rebel At Jenzobern. 8 months old good looking, good sized
puppy when stood. Broad head with lovely, dark correct eye and kind expression. Well laid
back shoulders and showing broad chest and standing with level topline with correct back end
although rear feet out turning. Disappointing on the move being uncoordinated and loose front
and rear and will need to improve in this area as he develops. Confident, correct temperament.
3rd Grubb’s Jesterbrock Alpine Forest

Junior Dog  (4 entries, 1 absentee)
1st Mair, Hartley-Mair & Dybdall's Meadowpark Perfect Record.
17 month old big framed
dog with plenty of bone and substance and lots to be impressed with. Broad, strong masculine
head with correct eye and expression, strong neck and deep broad chest with strong legs and
correct shoulders. Rather long in the loin but correct smoothly rounded rump with correct tailset.
Rear angulation could be a little better but moved OK with balance and drive from front and side
but tending to be close at the back. Lovely calm and relaxed temperament today.
2nd Bridges’ Deerpark Travelling Man v Kernow (Imp). 14 months old medium sized dog with
good proportions front to back and good bone for size. Balanced head for size with correct, kind
expression.  Well made front and level topline leading to correct angulated rear.  Moved mostly
OK but tending to be close from the front. Another lovely calm temperament.
3rd Ellis’ Kernow Azir At Fitzford

Post Graduate Dog  (2)
1st Bridges’ Kernow Something.
23 months old dog maturing nicely.  Lovely mature shape with
correct broad, male head and expression enhanced by correct dark eye, broad front, deep chest,
good shoulder angulation and level topline over correct body proportions. Lovely correctly rounded
broad rump although standing a bit straight in stifle. Moved OK from side and rear but a little tight in
elbow coming towards. Lovely calm temperament.
2nd Game’s Chippis Magic Diamond. Smaller type with less bone and substance than 1st.
Pleasing enough shape just needs more strength throughout. Overall correct proportions with a
balanced shape, good depth to chest, good short coupled body, level top line and good angulation
front and back. Moved OK generally except for being a touch wide from the front. Good confident
and relaxed temperament.

Limit Dog  (3)
1st Green’s Alpenspirit Pure Pleasure for Arvella (Imp)
Lovely 3½ year old with lots of good
qualities to offer but the overriding impression is one of balance from front to back. Broad head,
lovely eye and correct expression, well made in shoulder standing with good angulation from the
side and correct straight leg from the front. Good deep chest and straight, level topline ending in
correct tailset, correct proportions with shorter loin than many and excellent rear angulation.
Moved really well from all angles with an easy balanced drive that comes from his correct
construction. Lovely calm temperament although a little drooly today. Overall a well balanced,
well made correct dog who still has time to mature into a top winner. Reserve CC.
2nd Avery’s Lujento Morse.  Taller type dog with many good points but basically a bit too narrow
from nose to tail. Apart from this factor otherwise correct head with lovely expression and correct
deep chest and correct front angulation, level topline, good rear croup although standing a little
straight at the rear. Moved well with good drive and carrying himself with a correct balanced gait.
Good relaxed temperament.

Open Dog  (3, 1)
1st Mair, Hartley-Mair & Dybdall’s Ch Meadowpark High Class.
Big and regular winner of recent
months and not difficult to see why. Impressive male with great bone and substance and little to
fault. Correct strong, broad male head, lovely expression with dark eye and strong neck leading to
pleasing broad, deep chest with correct shoulder angulation and strong front legs. Standing and
moving with good level topline and correctly rounded rump and tailset, just a touch long in loin but
otherwise really good proportions. Moved with ease and balance carrying his size and substance
effortlessly. Good breadth throughout and quality from front to back. Easy winner of Dog CC and
then Best of Breed today.
2nd Gopal's Collansues Secret Bridges.  Taller type in outline with plenty of good points. Correct
head and expression although eyes a touch lighter than ideal. Strong neck, good shoulders and
correct front standing with correct angulation. Deep chest, level topline but lacking in rear angulation
standing very straight in stifle and hock. Consequently moved OK at the front but a little lacking in
the correct drive at the rear. Lovely calm, correct temperament.

Veteran Dog  No entries

Puppy Bitch  (1)
1st Bridges’ Kernow Floral Dance.
Just 6 months old, extremely typey and `chunky, fluffy` puppy.
Good compact shape with good bone and substance for age. Strong but definitely feminine head
set on short neck with good deep chest and broad front.  Standing a bit straight in shoulder but
lovely and correct from the front. Level topline, short coupled with good rear construction for age.
Bit stilted on the move not really relaxing in order to move out well but I think a little overawed by
her first trip out. Generally calm and quiet. A long way to go but lots of potential. Winning Best
Puppy mainly on her type.

Junior Bitch  (1)

Post Graduate Bitch  (4, 2)
1st Bridges’ Kernow All My Loving.
Lovely medium sized bitch with very pleasing shape and good
bone. Correct strong and broad but feminine head, lovely dark eye enhancing benign and friendly
expression. Broad front and deep chest, correct in shoulder, good ribs and correct topline. Stood a
bit straight at the rear but well muscled to compensate. Moved OK from all directions, Lovely calm
temperament. Reserve Bitch CC..
2nd Flanagan’s Collansues Sugar'n’ Spice.
Decent sized bitch with strong, broad female head
with lovely expression and dark eye.  Shoulder angulation OK but standing a bit wide from the front.
Topline rather high from the back but rear angulation quite good. Moved a bit wide from the front
but otherwise OK covering the ground well. Correct calm temperament.

Limit Bitch  (4, 1)
1st Griffiths, Slade & Orme’s Jaybiem Voo Doo At Potterspride JW.
 Lovely compact bitch with
really pleasing shape.  Medium sized with striking depth and good proportions being really short
coupled, especially for a bitch and with good bone for size. Feminine head with lovely expression
and correct shaped eye, although a touch light. Broad and deep chest with decent angulation to
shoulders and standing correct from the front. Level topline, short coupled body with good
construction to rear. Moved well from all directions with proper balance and easy, ground covering
gait. Happy and calm temperament.  Very happy to award her Bitch CC and Reserve Best of
2nd Wood’s Tamarabern Dusky Maiden. Decent sized bitch with good overall shape but possibly
a bit lacking in bone for her size. Lovely feminine head and standing with good shoulder angulation
and correct from the front. Good topline and correct tail and good rear angulation. Moved OK from
side and rear but wide from the front. In good coat and with calm and steady temperament.
3rd Flanagan’s Collansues Heart Of Gold.

Open Bitch  (2, 1)
1st Flanagan’s Collansues Magical Dream.
Good sized bitch still with time to fill out her frame.
Strong but feminine head with kind expression, good neck and standing OK from the front but a
little straight in shoulder. Good broad, deep chest and good topline and strong, well muscled,
correctly angulated rear. A bit disappointing on the move going very wide at the front and lacking a
bit of coordination but otherwise covered the ground well enough. Calm and steady temperament.

Veteran Bitch  (1)
1st Lashbrook’s Tidesprings Dancing Queen At Forestburn.
Over 9½ year old young lady of
smaller type but with good solid shape and strong outline. Showing her age somewhat in several
ways but who cares! Decent bone for size and age and of pleasing broad shape for size. Lovely
expression with kind eye and pleasing feminine head. Good broad and deep chest, well angulated
shoulders and level topline. Smoothly rounded rump with generally good rear angulation. `Rather
steady’ on the move, understandably lacking a bit of drive and fluency. Good calm temperament
and great to see her here today and happy to get her a well deserved round of applause.
